Claimed to be the most comprehensive data-based application
manual for the New Zealand market of imported vehicles is
a new battery application manual now available to existing
and new Century Yuasa trade accounts.
This 142 page publication contains Century Yuasa battery
specifications for all passenger and commercial vehicles assembled
in New Zealand and imported prior to the closedown of New
Zealand assembly, tractors and industrial equipment battery
applications, and imported Japanese passenger and commercial
vehicles. |

Century Yuasa Batteries (NZ) Ltd's Marketing Manager, Al
Cooksley, makes the comment that New Zealand is unique in
that the range of Japanese imports is increasing rapidly,
with new models arriving with virtually every shipload - 'There
has never been anything like it. This vehicle market complexity
has necessitated the publication of a battery application
booklet such as this'.
He adds, 'Battery applications as published in the manual
are as up to date as we can make them, but applications are
determined from manufacturers' manuals and other information
that may be up to six months old. It is intended to update
this application publication every six months as new manuals
etc come to hand from worldwide car manufacturing sources'.

He makes the point that, although every care has been taken
in the compilation and printing of this publication, the possibility
of error may exist and that it is expected that normal trade
knowledge and expertise will be applied when using this information
to ensure that suitability and accuracy of product application
